Oh geez, anon. This is like a legit question. Also one really hard for a person who avoids real feelings with sly jokes about giant sharks and fly dance moves.

I feel bitter most of the time lately with everything that’s been going on in the media in terms of equal representation and politics trying to pretty much control people’s bodies and hearts and minds and everything so it’s really hard to think of a great example.

I could say in recent memory that I occasionally get this uplift and surge of rightness for humanity by reading about people that are way more awesome, caring, and active in helping people than I am. Also the moment when in Parks and Rec Leslie Knope voted for herself and I felt how deeply she was waiting for that moment and I was overcome with how great it is that there’s this show (not flawless, but pretty rad) and this person on my screen that’s doing all this STUFF that I’ve never seen on television before and it just made me really really happy.

That is the lamest answer ever, but I wanted to try and not devolve into bad Jedi pick-up lines or sarcasm as a defense mechanism. I’m not big on the admitting to having EMOTIONS.

I don’t know how I feel about that. It’s an interesting theory, although also problematic in terms of how they treat loyalty in “whores” of Westeros (then again this is Game of Thrones and they have many, many issues with how they treat sex workers). I’m not sure why they felt the need to kill anybody off, it’s going to give Dany less people, especially Dothrahki to interact with coming up, which… well it’s a big part of her character.

I don’t even know anymore. I suspect (SPOILERS FOR THE BOOKS) that since even from the beginning people were like ‘omg make the Irri/Dany scene be between Doreah/Dany’ that they were going to replace Irri someway, but I didn’t think all together. It’s been pretty messed up all over.

• Why I like them: What’s not to like? She manages NOT to kill a dude who ran right in front of her moped (seriously, Mako, darting out in front of a truck? shouldn’t someone who professionally avoids oncoming rocks to his face have a better sense of self preservation?) and then, while clearly not being raised from her father’s humble upbringing only brings lightness and interest in helping out her friends. Sure she’s free with her money and buying people things and SURE, I would be too damn proud to take the money, but she’s not trying to manipulate anyway. She has money. She sees her friends need/want things she can provide, so she does it. That’s a pretty awesome, kind-hearted person, in my book (plus, lbr here, SHE IS GORGEOUS I AM NOT UNBIASED).
• Why I don’t: I don’t like that she hasn’t made out interacted more with Korra, but that’s about it and that should hopefully get solved in this week’s ep (oh god it’s almost Sat, so excited).
• Favorite episode/scene: Only in one episode so far, but DAMN it was a good one. I’m going to give her the hair flipping, because *_* and every day I go back and look at that gif and consider reblogging it so it’s on my dash again.
• Favorite line: That one about hearing so much about Korra. Clearly I need to watch this episode a million more times so I can study every detail.
• Favorite outfit: The cute little vest combo steampunk feel from when she introducing Mako to her father.
• OTP: Korra/Asami
• Non-romantic OTP: Bolin/Asami, HOW GREAT DID THEY HAVE TO GET ALONG OFFSCREEN? FOR REAL. And he was clearly apart of it when he showed up at the party and knew all.
• Headcanon: Her mother was killed by a bender and she’s probably somewhat involved with the Equalist movement. Either she knows or she doesn’t. But she’s not disingenuous at all and she’s gonna teach Korra a thing or two about non-benders.
• Unpopular opinion: I love her and I really don’t care if she gets in between ships.
• A wish for them: BECOME A PERMANENT PART OF THE GANG
• An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them: Be pushed off to the side or have some random “take home” love interest put in her direction so Mako and Korra can be free to mack on each other (Byrke have never done a love triangle before and I trust ‘em with most stuff, but I’m hesitant as to how they could handle a full on emotional teenage romance).

• Why I like them: LENA HEADEY, ahem, she’s playing the Game of Thrones EXACTLY like the dudes, but with NONE of the privileges of their gender, she does not YIELD. She’s also had some amazing ideas (excuse you, Tyrion, wildfire was Cersei’s idea, why can’t you kids work together instead of stealing and sabotaging?) that were they put into practice and not SABOTAGED fuck you, spoiler character from the epilogue of ADWD  might have actually improved Westeros. Plus the shit she put up with Robert, only for her kids, that’s amazing to me. She and Tyrion are Tywinn’s progeny and he’s TOO STUPID to realize it, because they’re not a dude!bro like Jaime.
• Why I don’t: She does some jacked up stuff in AFFC, not gonna lie. I adore her as a character, but no way in hell would I want to hang out.
• Favorite episode/scene: AHG ALL OF THEM THIS SEASON. LENA HEADY YOUR FACE (overly fond of the one with her and Littlefinger though, power is power, yeaaah). From the books? IDK, I’d have to say how she handled her stuff in ADWD was pretty epic. I would have liked her POV pre-AFFC (same time as Jaime) so we could have gotten more of her before she tripped down the insane ladder.
• Favorite line: “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.”
• Favorite outfit: The blue outfit she’s been rocking this season is probably my fav, but I’ve had no objections to any to them.
• OTP: Jaime/Cersei
• Non-romantic OTP: Cersei/her kids
• Headcanon: Cersei doesn’t love Jaime as much as he loves her, but she loves Jaime more than she loves anyone else (romantically at least). Jaime couldn’t live with another, but Cersei would have been able to adapt to a happy life with a husband who treated her well, especially one who respected her enough to share her council.
• Unpopular opinion: I LOVE HER and I don’t think she’s a villian. This series doesn’t have many villains and usually they are MONSTROUS gang rapers and torture artists. She’s just another of the jacked up humans that is running around Westeros. Also her vagina is not responsible for Bran being pushed out a window.
• A wish for them: She gets to run Casterly rock and LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Or she and Jaime go out together in a golden BLAZE OF GLORY. Rly I just want her to have the chance for the same kind of thoughtful eye-opening arc that Jaime had.
• An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them: The prophecy coming true. Because. No.

• Why I like them: Ignoring that she hits all my favorite tropes, archer, trying to reform from an ‘evil’ family, won’t take your shit, trying to prove yourself, etc, etc, etc, she’s a mixed race cartoon super hero. It makes me want to cry in all the best ways. Seeing that in a kid-oriented setting is SO RARE and so wonderful. And I love that they made it SO CLEAR that she is a POC. It’s clear from the animation in general, but they added that by her family and just asd;lfjasdlfkjsdlkjfs. And ADDING TO THAT HOLY CRAP HER DYNAMIC WITH CHESHIRE IS AMAZEBALLS.
• Why I don’t: Her romance with Wally was lazy and more than a little forced. GURL YOU SHOULD’VE HOOKED UP WITH AQUALAD or zatanna  oh sorry this is probably looking for a flaw in her character, I got nothing, girl is perfection
• Favorite episode/scene: Uggh her scenes with Cheshire, I can’t remember what episode but when they both decided they were SISTERS and they couldn’t let the other get killed. I also liked that time she called Kaldur hot.
• Favorite line: “I feel naked. And not in the fun way.”
• Favorite outfit: There haven’t been a lot of casual outfits, but I love when she’s wearing civs.
• OTP: Kaldur/Artemis (I COULD have bought her and Wally if they made Wally into less of an ass and actually developed their relationship on screen past the pre-antagonistic, telling us they’re going to get together)
• Non-romantic OTP: Cheshire/Artemis
• Headcanon: She has never had the urge to be a super villain, it’s not in her and she knows it, but she’s always going to feel like she has to prove herself because of where she came from. Not for herself, but for other people.

• A wish for them: Please show up in the timeskip episodes (hooking up with Kaldur).
